10 lines on My City I am living in kurukshetra city. It is a city of religious belief, temples, ghats, and Mahabharata.  It is believed that the war between pandavas and kauravas took place here on this land. The soil of kurukshetra is still red because of the blood of soldiers.  My city is very beautiful and clean. The air in the city is pure and pleasant.  The roads are cemented and clear. Plants and trees have grown near roads.  There are too many shopping complexes, malls and theatres.  Kurukshetra is also called "Brahma Bhoomi". This is also a very famous place to visit for tourists.  Tourist places in Kurukshetra are Shri Krishna Museum, Panorama, Brahma Sharovar", Kalpana chawla Tara Mandal, and a lot more.  I love my city and I am proud that I am born here. Everyone should go to this place once in their lives. 

10 lines on Importance of Time Time is a very precious thing in the world.  This is a saying that "you buy everything with money, but you can't buy time".  Money we spent we can earn back, but time we lost, it's gone, it will never come back.  This quality of time makes it more valuable and priceless.  Basically time is used to quantify, measure and compare the duration between the events.  We can schedule our daily routine work with the help of time.  Time is also very precious for students too, they can make their routines of study for getting better results.  The time which has gone is called the past, now it's the present and tomorrow will be the future.  Along generations, everything is measured in time.  So don't waste your time, utilize it by doing something valuable and kind. 

10 Lines on My Favorite Subject English I read all subjects in my school but my favorite subject is English.  This subject is very interesting and easy to learn.  I also like this subject because of its applications in today's world.  If you want to get successful in your life, then it is necessary to know effective and fluent English speaking.  There are too many stories and poems in the curriculum of English, which makes it more interesting.  These interesting and thrilling stories give me a very pleasant experience of reading.  I have always scored well in English.  The other reason is that English is the language of the world now.  I understand it well and it makes learning effortless.  Everyone should learn and master this subject to make life more valuable. 

10 lines on Postman The postman is a public servant who delivers parcels, mails, money orders etc. from one place to another.  He delivers both good and bad news for us.  He wears a khaki uniform and carries a leather bag with him.  Postman is a very hardworking man and his job is full of responsibilities.  Every morning, at first, he goes to the post office and collects all the mails and parcels in his bag.  Then he delivers these mails on every street and door.  His job is very tough because he delivers the parcels either it is raining, or hot or freezing cold.  The salary of a postman is not very good as he is not educated well enough.  He can only read, write and speak Hindi and a little bit English language.  But the postman is an honest man and we should respect him for what he does for us. 

10 Lines on God God is the creator and father of this universe. God has created everything on this earth, nature, humans, animals, trees, birds, insects etc.  God gives us this beautiful gift of life. We should thank God for his kindness everyday.  God has only made us as humans to think, to act and to work to make this life more meaningful.  God only helps those people who help themselves.  Our duty is to work hard without thinking about the results.  God gives us the results of our good or bad karmas.  We have to be kind and humble with other creatures of God.  We should focus on our goal of life for which god has gifted us this life.  There are different images and beliefs of God in different religions and countries.  But we all know that God is one who is looking after us every single moment.

10 lines on Girl Education Girls have equal right to get a proper education as much as boys have.  Girl education helps in women empowerment in our society.  Girl education is also very important for socio economic growth of a country.  An educated girl can raise her voice against domestic violence and sexual harassment.  Girl education also helps in lowering the infant mortality ratio.  An educated mother can take good care of her children.  Our government has also initiated schemes like beti bachao, beti padhao and sukanya samriddhi yojna to encourage girl education.  Educated girls are equally competing with boys in science, medical and engineering fields.  An educated girl can get a good job and can support her family financially as well.  Now time has come, we should give importance to education of our girls too. 

10 Lines on Lunchbox I have a tiffin box.  I usually carry my lunch meal into this tiffin to my work location.  I also call it my "Lunchbox." The color of this lunchbox is white and red.  It is made up of plastic. It consists of three plastic boxes and a zip cover.  I carry this box to other purposes like picnics, trips, visits as well.  My lunchbox is very useful for me.  It helps me to take care of my health and remind me to eat on time.  We all should carry our lunch box with us everyday, as lunch is also a very Important meal. 

10 Lines on Autumn Season There are four seasons in our country. Autumn is one of them.  This is a very beautiful season. The weather remains clear and pleasant.  This season starts after summer and ends before winter.  In this season, mostly crops are harvested in some countries.  Trees also start releasing their leaves in this season.  The temperature in this season remains pleasant and starts decreasing.  The days start becoming shorter in this season.  This is a very relaxing season for poor people as compared to rain, summer and winter.  Autumn season is overall a good season for humans, plants and animals.  Every individual has a different choice of season but I like the autumn season very much. 

10 Lines on Community Lunch Community lunch is a weekly program designed to share the lunch meal to encourage the people of the community. In this program, families cook for the rest of community people on Fridays as per their turn.  This year, my daughter’s school programmed  a “community lunch” on Fridays.  I like this idea because I no longer have to pack my daughter a lunch on Fridays.  But every four months, I have to cook a delicious meal for all of them.  This is also an excellent way for the kids to feel a sense of community.  It’s also a great way to introduce kids to new foods.  Apparently they will eat things at school, among their friends, that they would never touch at home Recently it was our turn, and I had to figure out what to cook for the students, then I cooked macaroni for them.  So, as stressful as it is to make lunch for a classroom, but I’ll be happy to do it again when our turn comes around.

10 Lines on Ideal Student An ideal student is a very disciplined,well dressed and intelligent guy.  He is always punctual in class.  He is very attentive and active in class.  He is always curious to gain knowledge.  He is always ready to answer the questions asked by the teacher in class.  He always obeys his teacher's instructions and order.  He always scores good marks in every class test or exam.  He is always with his classmates and friends.  An ideal student has a sense of responsibility towards his society.  He is an inspiration for other students. 

10 Lines on Corruption Corruption is the biggest hurdle in the growth of our country.  Corruption is an immoral and unethical way of earning benefits.  Govt. Officials use their power for the wrong purposes to make more money.  Greediness of a person is the main cause of corruption.  Nepotism is also a kind of corruption in which a govt. official helps his relatives to get a job, they don't deserve.  Corruption also creates the inequalities of gender, caste, religion in our society.  According to a survey, more than 90%of Indians give or take bribes once in their lives.  Our society also encourages the corruption to get their work done quickly and easily.  Corruption is the main factor that a poor family don't receive it's benefits from government.  Now the time has come to decide that we will never take or give bribe in our life. 

10 Lines on Bicycle I have a beautiful bicycle at home.  I use it everyday for travelling to my school.  The color of this bicycle is black.  My parents gifted me this on my 14th birthday.  Bicycles are a very cheap means of transportation.  It converts human body energy to Kinetic energy which runs the bicycle.  My bicycle is made up of iron mostly and tyres are made up of rubber.  The process of riding a bicycle is called cycling and rider is called cyclist.  Cycling is a very good exercise to empower the heart muscles and proper blood circulation.  We all have to use bicycles for travelling to short distances to lower the air pollution and to stay healthy. 

10 Lines on My Favorite Toy Car I have many toys but my favorite toy is a car.  It's a red coloured ferrari.  It's a remote control based car.  It's a small car and I can easily carry it with me anywhere.  It's a very fast toy car and I can easily turn it on both sides with the remote control.  My father is a mechanic and he has already worked on all brands of big cars.  My passion towards cars comes from my father.  He always takes me with him when he goes to the garage.  I really love my red ferrari and playing with it.  It's my dream to buy a ferrari car one day on my own.

Ram Singh is our school peon.  He is a very honest and hardworking person.  He has a tall and strong physic.  He always wears a khaki uniform and cap.  He comes everyday before school time and leaves the school at the end.  He dusts the benches and chairs in the morning.  He also cleans the principal office everyday.  He does not know to read and write but he does his work with full dedication.  He rings the bell and school starts, then he rings it after every period.  He always obeys the instruction from the principal and other teachers. 

10 Lines on A Rainy Day A rainy day is very important for the people of all generations.  It makes kids very excited because they love the rain.  They usually take a shower, playing and puddling in rain.  Students are also happy because sometimes schools declare leave on this day in case of heavy rain.  This is how students get a break from their daily routine and enjoy the rain at home.  The weather becomes very relaxing and pleasant on this day.  A rainy day gives relief from the hot summer.  A rainy day is also very necessary for farmers as well.  They need water in their crops, and when it rains, they fill with happiness and joy.  Rain is very essential for birds and animals in the hot season. They get water to drink on a rainy day. 

10 Lines on Means of Transport Transport is a very important factor for trading and business survival.  It is very important to carry the product and goods from factory to the consumers.  There are several modes of transportation used in India- Road, Air, Water, Railway, pipeline etc.  Road transport is very flexible because of its short distances.  Railway transport is a widely used method for transportation of goods because it is the cheapest transport.  Air transport is also used for costly products and for large distances like international exports and imports.  Water transport is the oldest method of transport in India.  It is used for heavy materials and big shipments.  Pipeline transport is used for oil and gas transportation between different states.  An efficient transportation helps in improving the economic growth of a country.
